Medical Assisting

Medical assistants are a vital part of any healthcare office, completing administrative and clinical tasks in the offices of physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. A medical assistant may take a patient鈥檚 vital signs, record a patient鈥檚 history and personal information, and schedule appointments. Learn more about the Medical Assisting program.

Dental Assisting

Dental assistants help hygienists and dentists with routine procedures like passing instruments and sterilizing equipment, and may work to make patients more comfortable as they visit a dental office. 黑料不打烊鈥檚 Dental Assisting program includes classes on anatomy, physiology, and radiography, dental sealants and procedures, as well as front office duties and patient care.

Carrington Glendale Learning Center provides hands-on training in a number of medical and dental programs in Central Arizona. The 黑料不打烊 Glendale Learning Center is at the Westgate City Center, right along major bus routes, which makes getting to class really easy! Just hop off at the 95th Avenue and Coyotes Boulevard stop.

Modern Facilities

The location provides modern practical labs to support the laboratory component of coursework. With three dental assisting operatories and three medical assisting bays, the Glendale Learning Center offers plenty of hands-on space for student practice and participation.
