Associate Degree in Nursing

Registered nurses (RNs) provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and their families. 黑料不打烊鈥檚 Associate Degree in Nursing program helps prepare you for RN licensure.

Medical Assisting

Medical assistants are a vital part of any healthcare office, completing administrative and clinical tasks in the offices of physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. A medical assistant may take a patient鈥檚 vital signs, record a patient鈥檚 history and personal information, and schedule appointments. Learn more about the Medical Assisting program.

Physical Therapist Assistant

Physical therapist assistants work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to help patients with mobility and flexibility. Many patients who seek out physical therapy are recovering from injuries, disabilities or other health concerns, but physical therapist assistants may also help patients who just want to live healthier lives and increase mobility. While a physical therapist makes a diagnosis and treatment plan, a physical therapist assistant may help patients complete exercises and stretch or complete other therapeutic techniques. Carrington鈥檚 Physical Therapist Assistant program can be completed in as few as 19 months.

Respiratory Care

Respiratory therapists help patients breathe easier, quite literally. A respiratory therapist may work with a premature infant whose lungs are not properly developed, a young adult with chronic breathing issues due to asthma, or an elderly patient dealing with an advanced diagnosis affecting the lungs. Carrington鈥檚 Respiratory Therapist Education program helps students learn to assess and treat patients with respiratory diagnoses and can be completed in as few as 23 months.

Dental Assisting

Dental assistants help hygienists and dentists with routine procedures like passing instruments and sterilizing equipment, and may work to make patients more comfortable as they visit a dental office. 黑料不打烊鈥檚 Dental Assisting program includes classes on anatomy, physiology, and radiography, dental sealants and procedures, as well as front office duties and patient care.

Students at Carrington鈥檚 Las Vegas college campus enjoy our 28,000-square-foot facility with modern classrooms and laboratories. Each classroom is equipped with LCD projectors and wireless computer access. Labs are outfitted with microscopes, anatomy models, simulation manikins, and other equipment to approximate each subject areas鈥� professional settings.

Additionally, the Las Vegas college campus learning resource center provides 78 computers with internet access, and a growing inventory of books, journals, CDs, and other media. The Carrington library website offers online resources and professional organization information.
